We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and location data when you use the Liquerz app. We collect location data to show you nearby liquor stores and send you alerts about bottle sightings near you. We also collect information about bottles you log, stores you visit, and your in-app activity including streaks and achievements.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Liquerz service. This includes showing you nearby liquor stores and bottle sightings, sending you push notifications about rare bottles spotted near you, tracking your hunting streak and trophies, and enabling store owners to see anonymous demand data for their stores.
Liquerz uses your device location to show you nearby stores and send you relevant bottle sighting alerts. Location data is used only to provide location-based features and is never sold to third parties. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, though this will limit the app's functionality.
With your permission, we send push notifications about bottle sightings near you, streak warnings, and achievement unlocks. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app on the Me page.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share aggregated, anonymized data with store owners about bottle demand in their area. We use Anthropic AI to identify bottle labels from photos you submit — these images are processed to identify bottle information and are not stored by Anthropic.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Bottle sightings you submit become part of the Liquerz community database. You can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at privacy@liquerz.com.
Liquerz is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States). By using Liquerz you confirm that you are of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
